Priscilla, an introspective young woman, finds herself at a crossroads with her boyfriend, Chase, when he is ready to take the relationship to the next level, and she is not. Chase invites her on a biennial family trip to meet his extended family, and she sees this trip as the perfect opportunity to understand why she isn't ready to progress after three years.

As Priscilla navigates a new environment with a family she could one day be married into, she begins to understand why her intuition is holding her back. Each day Priscilla spends in tranquil Lake Tahoe, her inner dialogue grows louder, unearthing the reason behind her uncertainty.
