Ara is a self-styled psychic with no interest in fame.

When Roy witnesses a murder, Ara's the only one who can help, because she's the only one who knows Roy exists. Unfortunately, since she also can't hear or see Roy, communication is still a challenge. And on top of that, Ara doesn't have much interest getting involved in a situation where no one will take her seriously. So it's probably a good thing that Roy, driven by frustration, exhaustion, existential dread, and a deep desire for human connection, isn't about to give up so easily.
