Chaos Magic

Chaos Magic is the debut poetry collection by multi-disciplinary artist, Andy Luke. It explores memoir, nature, dreaming and politics, with his sigil motifs of surreal pop culture tangents.

'Way down South Downs through prosperous wooded hill
Railways trail ways to spaces families try to fill.
Care by entrepreneur instils places; figures uses best
Growing gardens; business parks, work tables a rest'

Andy entered poetry as a winner of the 2008 Oxford Journeys competition, a joint venture between Stagecoach and Oxford Brookes University. He holds a 2:1 Honours degree in Media and Education from Brookes. The work included here has been performed for audiences at Titancon, Culture Night, and Inspire's Mixed Jam sessions. Andy lives and works in Belfast. His comic novel, Occupied, is due for release in Autumn 2021.
