A body turns up during a triathlon, but this death was no accident—it was murder, and things are about to get worse.
Yoga instructor Lily Piper and her friends take refuge from the heat and humidity of a DC summer in their local bar & grill, where they meet a congenial team of athletes in town for a big competition. All seems perfect until one of them turns up dead.
To help the police find the killer, Lily casts her mind back to the conversations she had with the dead man and his teammates, believing a clue to the motive behind the crime might be locked in her own memory. But finding it won't be easy. She's been in a funk for months, spacey and distracted, plagued by overwhelming anxiety. Was she paying enough attention to what was happening right in front of her?
She turns to meditation and her yoga practice to awaken her third eye and help nudge her recollection. Pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place, but it may not be enough before Lily finds herself in danger of becoming the next victim.
