The Wonderland Show

My eyes locked on his, finding the demonic glow still simmering in his gaze, darkening, waiting.

He kept spinning us, the smile creeping up higher as he read my expression.

I could almost see the souls of the dead swarming in his eyes. But for some reason, it was alluring.

I noticed all the lives of his victims that he bled dry echoing in his iris.

And then I saw my reflection, my curious expression reflecting in his gaze.

And I realized that I was no different than the rest of his prey.

But I knew he would save me.
