Steve Cannon must enter the world of the professional musician and the seamy drug underworld of 1960's Las Vegas to solve the murder of a famous recluse trumpet player. With most of the celebrity entertainers on the Strip looking over his shoulder, Steve must also contend with a sadistic killer who has resurfaced as a drug kingpin.
