The Wackiest Village In Africa

Samuel and the other men from the village, while enjoying beer under the shade of the meeting tree at the conclusion of yet another important daily meeting, were more than a little perplexed to hear that the women were yet again entertaining the silly notion of getting rid of their husbands. They simply could not understand why the women felt the need to make life (and everything else) so complicated. The men were quite happy to blunder their way through one uneventful day after another while the women, with their questionable ethics and their strange and inexplicable desire to earn money and buy new clothes, sadly seemed destined to always find something new (or old) to be extremely dissatisfied with.
The men had come to accept that hysterical behaviour, loud shouting, uncalled for arm waving and throwing around dangerous projectiles was, for the women, of whom his beloved wife Maria was one, just a regular daily routine.
The men concluded once again that the rumour was not to be taken seriously as, in their minds, it merely constituted another idle threat. They had been called lazy, idle and much worse many times before. There really was no reason to think that this time it would be any different.....
This book is based on a real life event.
