Decades deep in illegal genetic experiments, her actions endanger the very existence of transitus society under her rule—and transitus-kind. Searching for his sister, Krimsey stands against a plot that threatens to destroy life on the island for both humans and transitus. As his transition looms, reality hits. Saving Elpida before his body betrays him may not be possible.
