Captured

The life I'd wished was mine always seemed to be just out of reach. When my brother and his long-lost love found one another again, I was left outside watching from the sidelines, longing for what they had. Of course, they tried to include me, but I wanted more than what they could give. The distraction I craved came in the form of an unfinished task. That unfinished task was unfinished revenge. This time I wanted to draw it out, play with my prey. Then I would leave them to rot along with the life I so longed to leave behind.
