A Hit that Missed

Clint's nutty botanist friend discovers a new species of Anthurium that could have immense commercial value. A bunch of people come to town to try to get the rights to name the plant. He refuses. He was shot at on the mountains, then a woman working with him is hit. Why? It has to be something more than that plant!
