The Memory Leech

For thirteen-year-old Darius, his bedroom has always been a sanctuary. But lately, the silence has turned "thick and suffocating," and his own room feels like a place he's visiting for the first time. The vibrant memories he once cherished, like the neon green concert ticket on his wall, are becoming muted and distant. Darius is being hunted by a "Memory Leech," a creature that feeds on the threads of his identity.
