Lizzy Langdale and the Unassigneds

Lizzy might be a part of the strongest magical family still alive, but she's also just a regular office worker, trapped in the grey cubical lifestyle. That is at least until her telekinesis is discovered by the InT, and she is forcefully taken to the American Academy of Extraordinary Gifts to learn to control her powers - the same powers she's been using for the past 20 years, since she was a baby.

Separated from her family, Lizzy now has to learn to navigate her new reality, and all the opinions and expectations people have of her based on her name. New perspectives are forced on her, family loyalty is called into question, and Lizzy has to question whether the version of events she was taught growing up is true.

But the school has its own secrets too, and soon Lizzy finds herself in a world of trouble the so-called "Unassigneds".
