Trapped in the Limbo-like Wait Zone with amnesia on her mind, and struggling to comprehend her unpredictable surroundings, Amelia is given a host of clues from one helpful character after another, while she is chased down by more than a few villains.
As a shape-shifting elephant and lady guru teach Amelia how to dream with intention, she develops a deep appreciation for the creative ways abused and neglected kids manage to survive, the complexities of traveling through inter-dimensional reality, the trust required to form alliances with seeming strangers, and yes, the importance of caring for a pet snail.
