Nate was determined to have the calm, college experience advertised in all those slow-motion ads with the soothing Morgan Freeman voice. With his crazy, overprotective parents back home, this might also be his only chance to finally live a little.
On his first day, Nate meets Alex—an unbelievably attractive senior who takes a keen interest in Nate, his art, and his complete lack of experience. Alex makes Nate question things he's never questioned before, and when Nate starts spending time with Colt—a hot, infuriating senior who teases and challenges him at every turn—those doubts are pretty much confirmed.
Colt offers to help Nate "figure things out" by pushing him toward Alex, except Alex may already have a boyfriend-of-sorts, and Colt himself is very much part of the problem.
Between the Friends-His-Parents-Warned-Him-About™, extravagant student getaways, and a sudden awakening Nate did not plan for, Nate quickly realizes that college is going to be anything but calm.
