A Mother’s Attitude During Pregnancy

Being pregnant is not as simple as just remembering to take the prenatal tablets. Pregnancy can be a mixed bag of strong emotions; both positive and negative, especially if it’s the first time. Experts have long proclaimed that a pregnant woman’s thoughts have a physical connection to her unborn child. This means that for nine months a pregnant woman has to deal with those emotions such as fear of the unknown, anxiety and stress mixed with excitement. This is why there is great motivation to have a godly attitude throughout pregnancy. A mother’s attitude during the time of pregnancy should be connected or turned toward the giver; the protector of all life – God. This book, therefore, is much more a spiritual support to pregnant women than a scientific or medical guide, in which abounds many proposed samples of prayers based on the Word of God that will allow the future mother to spend nine months in meditation, in prayer and in the presence of God.
