"First Four Emotions" is a book that contains twenty-four poems. The book is also divided into four parts, each dedicated to one emotion: anger, love, fear, and hope. Through the poems in this volume, I have tried to offer different perspectives on these emotions. Anger can be expressed outwardly, but it can also be an unspoken inner rage, and it may be triggered by both external and internal factors. Fear can be momentary or constant, caused by certain triggers, or it can be an unjustified fear — but one that nonetheless exists. Love is expressed differently depending on the relationships we have with those around us: parents, friends, siblings, ourselves, or partners. Hope may be without a clear foundation, but it can also be meaningful in a specific context or moment.
