This version of Gettin' to the Dance Floor was originally printed in 1986 and is faithfully presented in the edition. As noted below there are several additions to the original manuscript.

Jaime Diaz, who wrote the original Foreword, has written a Prologue for this edition.

An Epilogue penned in 2024 by the author, has been added and is located after the Postscript.

Each chapters dedicated to an individual now cites the year the person was born and passed away.

The list of books written by the author has been updated.

Many of the photos have been updated.

Lastly, the dust jacket has been redesigned.
