Detective
Rage
goes
downstairs
before
going
home.
Sergeant
Jones
is
working
the
graveyard
shift
and
will
not
be
of
much
use
until
after
18:00.
They
arrange
to
have
supper
together
and
then
he
can
go
to
work.
In
the
parking
lot
of
the
diner
they
decide
to
go
to
the
movie
house
and
eat
there.
Plans
change
again
and
they
go
to
Rage’s
home
to
watch
a
VCR
movie. After
the
movie
ends
and
as
Jones
is
leaving
they
see
and
hear
two
car
in
a
running
gun
batter
on
a
major
street
close
by.
They
both
choose
to
pursue
the
cars
in
separate
vehicles.
Jones
is
first
onto
the
road
with
lights
flashing
but
is
blocks
behind
the
last
car
when
he
gets
on
the
main
road.
Rage’s
jeep
is
another
six
blocks
behind
Jones’
squad
car.
The
cars
continue
to
exchange
gun
fire
as
the
race
down
the
somewhat
busy
street. The
last
car
is
losing
the
race
because
it
is
old
and
their
gun
fire
has
not
slowed
the
fleeing
car.
The
last
car
starts
to
weave
between
their
two
lanes.
Rage
will
take
the
last
slower
car
and
force
it
to
stop.
Jones
will
speed
ahead
and
try
to
apprehend
the
fleeing
car.
Or
at
least
slow
them
down.
The
old
car
was
finally
forced
off
the
road
and
then
they
shot
at
her.
Half
of
a
clip
from
her
Colt
and
they
give
up. Jones
is
catching
the
fleeing
car
when
they
manage
to
bring
down
a
cross
lanes
traffic
sign.
It
blocks
the
road
and
the
chase
ends. The
next
day
in
Chief
of
Police
Anderson’s
office
is
Inspector
Strong
and
the
new
Chief
of
the
Robbery
section,
Wilma
Jones.
She
is
there
because
it
appears
the
car
chase
and
shootings
are
tied
up
in
a
string
of
Pawn
shops
holdups.
Inspector
Strong
is
there
because
Detective
Rage
forced
over
the
old
car
but
it
had
a
body
in
the
back
seat
that
had
been
shot. Wilma
asks
for
the
Inspector’s
help
and
he
assigns
Detective
Rage
to
work
with
robbery. It
will
get
confusing
when
the
old
car
may
have
been
robbing
Pawn
shops
and
the
fleeing
car
was
a
copycat
robber
of
Pawn
shops.
Just
who
is
on
first
will
take
a
lot
of
work
and
luck
to
figure
out. How
will
Rage
ever
find
the
fleeing
car,
more
dead
bodies,
and
college
girls
to
solve
her
100th
homicide case?
