Captive

Marie, a new detective gets her first case, interviewing a young man that shows up with severe injuries and close to death. Before he collapses, he says he was kidnapped and escaped his captors, killing them.

Paul had disappeared four weeks before, his father reporting him missing to the Police. Paul tells the detective his story, the kidnapping, the daily torture at the hands of two sadistic people, everything that led up to the moment he had escaped. The kidnappers, two unrelated persons that had Marie and those that knew them confused as to why they had done what they did to Paul.

Weeks later, a family friend comes forward with videos that surfaced by accident, showing a very different story to what Paul had told them. Marie takes matters into her hands and challenges Paul, being drawn into a deadly and twisted game that endangers her own life, bringing up painful memories of a previous case.
