In Wyoming territory, Johnny Ross got involved in a feud between a big cattleman and the homesteaders in the neighboring valley—who were sided by a gang of outlaws. Being caught in a crossfire between two warring factions wasn't much of a place to be, so he had no choice but to take a hand for himself.
