Escape to Italy

Riley Davis was comfortable until three personal disasters in swift succession, the last the swift and unexpected death of his wife, almost crush him. An unlikely windfall soon after turns his head toward a five star holiday in his wife's memory which turns into a life changing encounter.

His trip challenges much of his former foundations and his acceptance of his self-proclaimed mediocrity. Then like dominoes falling it changes his country of residence, his work, his self-esteem bringing forth hidden talents before finally altering his attitude, mind and heart bringing true purpose to his life for the first time and contentment to his soul.

Escape to Italy is a story of a man who is almost finished with life and looking forward to the tranquility of retirement only to discover that life has not finished with him.
