Neo-Nightbreed: The Taste of Fear

A Psychologist with one foot in the supernatural and a displaced New York Cop with too much to lose must work together to solve an outbreak of unexplained coma cases in sunny southern California. Patients are filling New Hope Hospital to the brim, and no one knows what is causing the phenomenon until Lisa McNabb is called in to assess the coma cases and using her innate Psychic abilities she learns that the victims have been attacked by something dark and terrible, something that has ripped the souls from them and is still feeding on them. Alive but not, the victims return to their abandoned bodies once every four hours for a matter of seconds, just long enough to keep the hope that they will survive alive. When Gil Sherman joins Lisa on the hunt for the mysterious attacker they find that his sister Melissa is just one of the many victims. It is a race then to find the attacker before he strikes again and find a way to free the suffering souls tainted by touch of the Neo-Nightbreed.
