Do not expect anything serious from this story. It has nothing but grins, giggles and gaffaws. Ostensibly it's a family drama – a story of how one frustrated, flat-broke family man tries to produce a home-movie to win a competition which has as first prize a family holiday at a spa with the dubious name of Pappagaaibos Pleasure Resort. The torturous tale from the initial planning through to the actual filming and recording of what became called by the family members, laconically, “The Epic” embroils the producer in a string of hilarious situations that all but boggle the normal mind. If you are looking for some light-hearted entertainment to while away the time, look no further. If it is some time since you enjoyed a good, unrestrained and uninhibited belly-laugh, this will provide you with the formula. Chuckle your way through the chapters that incorporate such diversities as periscopes, Frozen Sperm, former beauty queens, a gambling addict, blocked drains and blind dates, close encounters, Cleopatra, foxes, pheasants and fantacies.
