Becoming

This debut collection of poems pulls together musings on my identity and journey as a trans woman. It looks at how I see myself, how others see me, and how I want them to see me. I look back across my life, seeing that this identity was there the entire time, peeking out frequently, but never fully coming out into the light. There is fear and defiance in these lines, doubt and strength, and always pain and joy.
