Not On the Menu

Romance with Zik was not on the menu.

On the menu were carefully plated dishes.

Not butterflies.

Not longing gazes.

Not replaying moments like a carousel.

And definitely not romance with my friend's brother.

Or a younger guy.

So why was my stomach churning?

It had to be a stomach bug…
