Contrary to some of the stuff you see and read these days, solving a murder is never a simple thing. It takes time, patience, and a large ration of experience. But trying to solve a string of murders that go back to centuries past has its own unique set of demands. It can chew your mind to bits.
Set in 1966, 'Klub Päris Fantastiline' is an adult noir fiction series with an underlying mystical theme. Carl Knudson, a balding, middle-aged police detective, inherits an innocuous suitcase and a small key from his father, a long-retired hard-nosed cop with secrets he'd prefer stayed buried. That the key doesn't fit the suitcase is only the beginning for Carl and his partner, Martinelli.
The ensuing tale is told from the perspective of twelve interconnected case files. Book One, 'The Ninth Case File' is the first in the series and is titled, 'Mikey'.
Book Two, 'The Sixth Case File' is currently in production and is titled, 'Inga'.
Told against the backdrop of a friendship between two kidnapped women in the closing stages of war in Europe, theirs is a story of escape from turmoil, of love and betrayal, and of hatred. Most of all, it's a story of revenge, and of the hunt for one man.
