Sophie and the Magic Rescue

Sophie is devastated that her foster mom Trudy left her behind on the magical island of Nugateris, and even more so when she finds out that Trudy is terminally ill. Trudy wanted Sophie to be safe, but going home alone means she must deal with the cancer by herself and possibly face charges for disappearing with her foster child. Determined to be with Trudy at all costs and help her, Sophie enlists her friends to go against the law and their better judgement, and use their magical powers to take them through the Mists back to Sophie's home.

Will Sophie and her friends' rescue succeed? And will Trudy recover from the cancer so that she and Sophie can be a family?
