Unlike ordinary humans, Layla vividly remembers being born. That’s because she was electrified into existence in a hospital storage closet as the secret science project of a heartbroken doctor. Since birth, she’s been hidden away: a special woman with special bonus parts.

When the doctor’s reanimation creation sneaks out of the hospital, she enters a world she doesn’t understand. City streets make a harsh home for girls like Layla. She soon finds herself in the company of criminals, cops, and even one particularly amorous Hollywood actor.
