The Strasbourg Theorem

Sorrows, hatreds and grudges circulate through the corridors of the renowned University of Strasbourg after it returns to French hands after 50 years under German control and hosts the 1920 International Mathematical Congress. During the Congress, seven mathematicians commit suicide on seven different days after secretly studying a surprising and mysterious mathematical work, the source of which is unknown. Mademoiselle Jeanne-Marie Duchamp, a respected mathematician in the field of Logic, is attending the Congress for her lecture on the Philosophy of Mathematics. The mystery challenges her intelligence, and using only logical wit and pure mathematics, she devises a fabulous equation - the Strasbourg Theorem - which not only reveals that the whole thing is a horrendous crime, but also pinpoints the real culprit and their motives.
