But would 'spoiling' or 'extravagance' be pain and feelings of abandonment?

Tom is only trying to look out for Sam in the best possible ways. He wants to destroy all her fears of a good life, just to let him be inside of her walls.

But could Sam learn Tom's type of love? Would it be 'good good'? Or 'bad bad'? But could there be a third path? One that mixes one fear with another fear but makes life pleasant for her?
