A popular Park Slope tavern built in Brooklyn, New York

during the late 1800s is the setting for a strange story.

The stone used in the construction was liberated from a wall

surrounding a Civil War-era cemetery in nearby Prospect Park.

Some people claim this little-known fact was the catalyst for

the many ghostly occurrences at the tavern. A chain of events

is about to unfold leading to a strange story that can't be blamed

on that old stone.

An author has his characters vanish unexpectedly, but so do the

locals who his characters are based on.
