Lacy is taking Alyssa to the premier pediatrician in the country for her neuro development hat. As she does this she is confronting her own second thoughts about having her infant daughters development augmented. Alyssa's pediatrician doesn't think they are a good idea. He husband Owen favors giving Alyssa a head start in life. Lacy thinks about the harms that have been done to develop the hats and whether they are as safe as advertised.
