The Struggle Within

The Struggle Within is based on one boy's true journey and struggle to deal with child sexual abuse, as he, like many other victims, sought to understand why such evil acts were done to him.
Set in the 1960s when sexual abuse was not spoken about, an issue thought to occur only with strangers, not behind the closed doors of our homes.
It is a story of mystery, boyish adventure, drama and complex psychological themes, whilst remaining void of any graphic detail, to help a new generation of older children, teens and adults, disclose or come to terms with their abuse.
