Fallen Moon

In the far future, Earth is unrecognisable. Separated by an ocean, two distinct worlds exist.

The people of the forest live in a brutal balance with nature. They know no technology beyond the stone tools they use to hunt and craft. Among them is a young girl, Nemiah, who suffers more than most. Life is harsh, and under her father's strict hand, she knows no love. But there is a purpose to her struggle. The machine intelligence that secretly guides her people has chosen her. Another power is rising, and if they allow it to awaken, it will destroy everything.

Across the water, in a land of dust and debris, the opportunistic and innovative people of Kapital tinker with things they don't fully understand. Mining the ground under their grimy city, they repurpose the exotic remnants of lost technology from a forgotten civilisation. But they are playing with fire, and their rush to exploit it has brought an ancient and world-ending machine back to life.

To stop Earth's final cataclysm, Nemiah must leave her people and travel to Kapital. There, she will face a destiny thousands of years in the making. She will discover the awful truth of what came before. Is she brave enough to face her fate? Can she stop the fallen moon from rising?
