Remember The Forgotten

Two adventurers, James and Sapphire, return home to their village of Machiavel, weary and tired after their latest quest. But no sooner are they back in their favourite tavern when their services are once again requested, by a strange and mysterious young man who hides his face in his hood and clings fiercely to a large, well-worn book that's tethered to his arm with a length of tough rope. The job he offers them seems simple; to escort him as he follows an old and weathered map deep into the forest. But things in the forest are not as they seem, and they are soon drawn deep into a spiraling journey of magic and monsters and tricksters and dreamers. What is the ominous force that lurks in the woods? Can they trust the strangers they meet along the way? What is it that that strange young man keeps scribbling in his book?
