Say Yes

The poems of j.d daniels in Say Yes begin soft and gentle as a breeze from behind,
the quietness carried in fields of corn. A world beneath the world of snow-covered
branches, each poem opens with a quotation by Rumi, lending a timeless air.

By twists and turns, images flicker off the page like the sighting of a fishhook.
There is, inside the words and spaces in between, a breath, a defiance,
a standing-against-all-odds, a woman saying "Yes!"
