Jean-Pierre de Vlieger is an extra-terrestrial of his time. In an ever more secular and individualistic society, where poetry has given way to feel good books, he dares writing in rhyme about his faith, about the values that inhabit him, and about the biases of today's society. However, be careful not to label him as reactionary: he remains resolutely modern, both in the form, that of Proetry, this prose in poetry that street poets have adopted, and in substance, with his way of talking about the things of his time, of considering his relationship with Christ and religion with a kind of freedom, a love and tolerance that he owns.
