The Defiant Eagles
Two enemies. One alien world. No way home.
September 1940. The sky over London is a graveyard of fire and steel. Flight Lieutenant Paul Hunter and his gunner, Will McLaurin, scramble their Boulton Paul Defiant to intercept a wave of Luftwaffe bombers. Among them is Captain Jurgen Richter, a veteran pilot of a Junkers 88, determined to strike his target.
But as the two planes lock in a deadly dogfight, the fabric of reality tears open.
Sucked through a mysterious celestial rift, both crews are hurled from the smoke of the Blitz into the bruised-crimson sky of an "extramundane" world. Stranded beneath three jagged moons and hunted by a silent, high-tech alien predator, the rules of war have changed.
The RAF and the Luftwaffe came here to kill each other. Now, with their engines failing and their guns empty, they have only one choice: unite or perish.
In a world where the laws of physics are broken and the "Teardrop" hunters are closing in, these bitter enemies must become brothers-in-arms. The war for Earth is over. The struggle for survival has just begun.
