Twins of Misfortune

Early October 2010: Sunday morning, Trish went for a brisk walk to gain an exceptional taste of coffee from a truck that rarely stayed. Upon arrival, a person told her fortune without even introductions, one that made her laugh and dismiss the idea entirely.

On her way back, her off day became another workday at the office; however, she soon learned an acquaintance of Ray's from his past was asking him for help. They discovered her deceased in a peculiar posture. Ray was determined to find the truth.

The truth became twisted, involving German folklore that was as old as time. Trish made it her mission to help her partner while dealing with another person from Ray's past. This soon almost became her demise when it involved the twins of misfortune, and Rumpelstiltskin. Will she be able to turn her fate around while still protecting her partner, or will another hidden secret be the key to saving them from misfortune by the twins?
