The ghosts of the city and the silenced colossus in the lagoon are her only companions, until a traveller - the first in decades - comes to her door, seeking a night's shelter on her journey. The traveller brings with her magic, and answers to dreams and desires buried so deep Ebunoluwa believed them dead.
