Rhythmic Vibrations

An unlikely incident at a choral concert leads to the undertaking of a questionable experiment, partly motivated by curiosity and partly by boredom. As could predictably be expected, the experiment turns out to be an unmitigated failure. Or does it? Subsequently, a confluence of events unexpectedly leads to the discovery of a youthful musical prodigy capable of producing music in a unique style. This in turn, leads to the postulation of a new theory that needs to be tested with another experiment. The outcome is as astounding as it is unexpected.
