When the betrayal of both her ex-boyfriend and her best friend turn Whitney Henderson's dream job in Paris into a nightmare, she decides it's time for a fresh start. Unsure where else to turn; she heads back home to White Lake, Texas hoping to save up enough money to eventually open her own restaurant.

When Kevin Dalton took over his family's diner, he never could have expected to lose his head chef the same month his parents were set to officially retire. Unsure what to do, it feels like an answer to prayer when his former classmate, and world-class chef, Whitney walks into the diner in need of a job. While it may not be the fancy restaurant she had envisioned, Whitney is appreciative of the opportunity to be cooking again, even if it is for her former high school crush.

As they work closely together, they realize they have a lot more in common than just feeding the people of White Lake. But will their new feelings for each other threaten past dreams? Or will they trust that with God's guidance, they can live out new dreams- together.
