Driving west into Denver I see fields waiting for harvest on both side of the highway. The mountains west of Denver will be showing the red, orange, and yellow colors of fall, but this trip isn't about the scenic beauty. The sun is rising behind me and shines off the glass of the downtown buildings. I leave I-70 and head south on I-225 just as the rush hour traffic begins. I have to pay attention to road signs and traffic. Coming from a small town in Oklahoma and driving out to clients in rural areas, there usually isn't much traffic.
