I lost my life partner to an aortic dissection. It was sudden and we were happy. We both believed in some things that are outside the norm. Because of all of those factors, it didn't take me long in grieving to remember having read Richard Matheson's Bid Time Return and, with some limitations, I tried to recreate what the main character did in that story.
This book details my attempts at a sort of experiment with time and my feelings with grief. I don't know what you, the reader, will most get from it, an exploration of time travel, examples of things the human mind is capable of, or an account of grief, but I felt it was such a unique and thought-provoking story that it had to be shared.
