Don't Murder Maria

Mark Kendal believes developing the cure for HIV is good; but not if it means murdering Maria Quiteria Campos for her DNA. Maria Quiteria is the ancestor of his lover and friends who died saving his life. But Mark learns that his employer Jedediah Strang and his frankengene pharmaceutical conglomerate wants Mark to travel back to 1839 Brazil to harvest Maria's DNA for their next wonder drug.
