Caretaker to a Stranger

Gandalf Griffin lives alone up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He's a loner, keeps to himself and generally doesn't like people owing to a secret that's haunted him for the last thirty years of his life. After a recent hunting expedition though, with injuries beyond his capabilities, he finds himself in desperate need of a doctor – fate has decided it's time to step in and put someone on his path.

Carlisle Richardson is about to go on his well-deserved Christmas vacation at his family's house in Roanoke. At the last minute, he gets a call-out from someone needing his help. Fantastic! A gripping story that had me hooked from beginning to end. I was so caught up in the book that I was bummed when Aiden and Carlisle's story came to an end.
