Bronzed Shame

Glen is dying to be one of them.

He's been an outcast his entire life, and now he doesn't even belong with the group of people he's risked his career for. John and his Ferly are special but they all think he's just a stuck up jerk. Now there's an opportunity to change what Glen fundamentally is, and he's not going to miss his chance.

Azami's healing ability costs her blood and pain, but she's secretly determined to use it to heal the world even if it takes everything from her—until Glen collapses from an experiment gone very, very wrong. She must choose whether to continue the tests on her daily blood draws to try and save the world, or use them on the cold, uncaring man to save his life, because she's the only one who can.

Glen's failed genetic experiment to become like the Ferly puts all of them in danger while the outside world legally crashes down on their kind. As Azami becomes too precious to him to hurt any longer, he must refuse her aide, but in doing so, he'll forfeit his life.

But what worth would his life have without her anyway?
