I switched shifts on Halloween to surprise my boyfriend so we could watch his favorite movie while eating popcorn. Instead, I get the biggest surprise of all when I find him cheating on me in the shower.

Surprisingly, that wasn't even the worst part of the whole nightmare. Nope, that award goes to dying. Just great.

Now that I'm a ghost, I plan to haunt my ex-boyfriend and his new lover, but it isn't as easy as I'd hoped. Insert my ghost case manager, who is stupidly good-looking. But the last thing I need is to fall in bed with someone else after the previous guy landed me at the bottom of the stairs. No, thanks.

I'm not saying his name. I don't need his help. I can figure out this ghost crap on my own. How hard could it really be?
