When the perky wrestling firecracker Candy Smith arrives at IWX, she is ready to take on the world. The fiery candy-coated ball of sass lands herself in hot water with her boss, Davis Preston, when she becomes at odds with the leader of Retribution, Slade Logan.

Confronted with the bad-boy of the IWX faction, Candy must figure out how to get along with him or lose her push to be the next wrestling superstar. Davis reaches his boiling point with the duo's constant battles of will and takes action. Along with the IXW wrestling roster, Davis forces them into a charity publicity stunt. Two weeks handcuffed together, they must end their feud or face the consequences. With Candy and Slade's future at stake, Slade falls for the colorful jobber new girl while struggling to keep their career intact. In the midst of a budding romance, Slade discovers Candy's past if full of heartache and loss.
