As an unfaithful servant

The Great War and Albania are the background to this historical novel and the events of some families in a small town in Piedmont. There are two recurring elements throughout the story: the interweaving of each story with another and the continuous journey back through memories, between unexplored pain, repressed feelings, and disturbances that do not want to be told. The narrator becomes a spectator of these events and spokesperson for a profound reflection on the fallacy of history.
